SEAHORSES

This programme is for children aged four to seven years old. The aim of the program is to develop water confidence and instil a lifelong love for water.  

We do this by adopting an outcomes games based approach and ensuring our environments are fun, engaging and safe.

This programme is for children aged seven to nine. The aim of the program is to develop physical literacy competencies needed to ensure we develop confident and competent individuals.

HAMMERHEADS 

This programme is for young people aged seven to nine. The aim of the program is to develop an understanding of basic training principles. In addition to this we will start to place greater emphasis on our core values, club culture and individual responsibility. 


We do this by introducing the mental, technical, tactical elements of swimming and touching on the importance of nutrition in training. 

  • Techniques in all five strokes

  • Foundational movement patterns

  • Developing self - reflection 

  • Developing goal setting

  • Introduction to the clubs core values

RAGGY'S

This programme is for young people aged ten to twelve. The aim of the program is to implement good training principles.


We do this by developing the ‘racing mind’. We will start to develop strategies for self analysis and reflection. Begin to analyse nutrition and take a deeper look into performance behaviours.

  • Continued foundational movement patterns

This programme is for young people aged thirteen to fifteen. The aim of the program is to continue the development of our training and competition standards along with the further understanding our values and culture 


This will allow us to start setting goals that are vaules and processed based

  • Development of training and competition preparation 

  • Understanding performance behaviours 

  • Developing an understanding of the 'Racing Mind'

TRUE BLUE

This programme is for athletes aged sixteen plus. The aim of the program is to implement and refine individualised training strategies, We will agree key priorities and milestones to ensure all athletes, coaches and stakeholders are driving in the same direction. 


We will do this by continuing to monitor and assess individual training loads, goals and personal needs. This will allow us to make any incremental changes that are needed ensuring we are as close to achieving our long term goals as possible. 

  • Stroke and or event specific training

​The aim of this program is to provide an environment that caters for social swimming and competitive swimming alike. We will do this by creating a semi formal environment that allows  the swimmer to set the standard of training for themselves.

ADULT LEARN TO SWIM

If swimming is new to you and you would like a safe place to learn look no further. We offer Adult learn to swim classes in a safe and secrue environment.

TERM & CONDITIONS

  1. Blues Training Academy will make every effort in-line with what is deemed reasonably practical to minimise the risk and ensure the safety of all swimmers under its care.

  2.  We do not run any sessions that fall on public holidays and if a swimmer is sick or injured unfortunately no make up lessons are available as squad sizes are limited for health and safety reasons.

  3. The cancellation of a swimmers membership will need to be given a month in advance in writing via email to the following email address admin@bluestrainingacademy.com

  4. By signing up to one of our offerings you acknowledge you have read and understood the above and indemnify the Blues Training Academy  from any incident that might take place whilst under our care.
